Renaissance Kares serves to educate, elevate, involve, inspire and mentor youth and adults in and out of the LGBTQ community that will create positive peer mentor partnerships to help with healthcare, housing, education/career choices and positive physical/mental health. Focusing in all the needs of the individuals that we serve.
Mission
Renaissance Kares mission is to help bring awareness and abolish HIV/AIDS by providing HIV prevention and linkage services and events for men who have sex with men (AAMSM), transgender male and females, youth, social networks and high risk heterosexual individuals through support, education and prevention.
About the Director
Randall K Smith hails from Anniston, Alabama where he got a strong foundation of leadership and community service. Randall was actively involved in his community as a gymnast, camp counselor, cheerleader and coach and theatre actor. His involvement in the arts has been the foundation that has given him the capacity to be creative and inspirational in the community. Randall is a graduate from The University of Alabama with degrees in Marketing and International Business.
Randall’s love and commitment to the beauty industry, fashion designing, philanthropy and entertainment has given him the momentum to create Renaissance Kares, A Service Organization which was designed to be an instrumental component of the LGBTQ+ community by helping LGBTQ+ members and support systems to make a positive impact in our community either through healthcare, education, job skills/placements or overall lifestyle enhancement.
Randall’s passion to give back is instrumental in his commitment with various organizations throughout the United States. Randall has worked with Mercy Care, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Sjogren’s Foundation. Randall’s ultimate goal is to continue to learn and execute the needs of the people he comes in contact with to make their lives better.
